WeDig.fyi turns a plain-language prompt into a "crate": a short, curated set of real releases with links to buy or stream them. Every track is sourced from a real release in MusicBrainz, Discogs, or ListenBrainz, then ranked for the prompt by an AI model. WeDig does not generate audio and does not host or claim ownership of any music. The emphasis is buy-first: links go to Beatport, Bandcamp, and Discogs (vinyl) first, with YouTube for streaming.

## How it works

- A "dig" is a prompt: a mood ("late-night drives, headlights and synths"), a genre, a BPM range, a label, or a seed track, with optional label/BPM/key/energy hints.
- Discovery runs in three stages: search real catalogs (MusicBrainz, Discogs, ListenBrainz), rank and select the standout pressings with an AI model, then resolve where to buy or stream each track.
- The result is a crate: an AI-written title and summary plus real tracks, each with artist, release, label, year, a short rationale, buy links (Beatport, Bandcamp, Discogs), and a YouTube stream link.
- Free limits: 2 digs per day without an account, 3 digs per day with a free account. Larger plans are planned.
- Save crates to an account, share any crate via a public link, and export a crate as a `.m3u` playlist for DJ software (Rekordbox, Serato, etc.).
